Something for your mind #1

We like to keep ourselves creatively inspired so we thought we would share a monthly batch of our deep diving finds. For July, as we get ready for those sweet summer holidays, here is your first batch of general eclectics.

Hiller Goodspeed

We’re enjoying these witty illustrations by Hiller Goodspeed. A great follow for something to make you smile and think, scroll back for endless good stuff.

Juliet’s Quality Tunes

Juliet’s Quality Tunes are a great soundtrack for those hazy summer nights with a tipple or two.

Fillerama allows you to generate TV and Film versions of Lorem Ipsum. This one is for you digital designers, something that will make you smile even if InDesign is misbehaving.

BBC Creative Tokyo Olympics 2020 Promo

You’ve probably seen it by now but BBC has now launched it Olympic trailer last month and it’s pretty damn good. The fast paced, reference filled motion graphic really captures the excitement and spirit of the Olympics. Even complete with anime versions of the olympians, archive footage and an egg hunt throughout the trailer.

On The Fly by Joe Whitmore

On The Fly by Joe Whitmore is part photography, part recipe book put together using ‘ask the audience’ Instagram polls and stories to see which ingredients  should be used, combining the digital and print design world.  With brilliant design and exceptional food photography, it’s one to have on the coffee table. Oh, and it comes with a tea towel.

True Pizza

True Pizza are the new kids on the block here in Derby and drew us in with their 90’s New York graphics, authentic social media style and some handsome looking pizza. Check them out and order yourself some cheesy goodness.

Giant Lobster Alt Ale

Californian agency Alter nailed it with the design of this collaborative beer from The Wilderness Society and Moo Brew to help save the endangered Giant Freshwater Lobster. Beer and design that does good, we’ll drink to that.
